Overall Visits Per Day
Each day, the total number of customer visits you can potentially receive is determined by two factors:
- Base visits, generated by timed customer spawns throughout the work day.
- Morning rush, an additional group of customers that spawns at the very start of the day.
The actual number of visits you receive from these potential spawns depends on your store capacity, meaning how many customers you can hold in the store at one time, as well as your store’s efficiency in rotating customers in and out throughout the day. Timed spawns can be skipped if your shop is at capacity.

Base Visits
Throughout the day, a timer runs in the background. When the timer elapses, a customer spawns somewhere outside the store and walks toward it. The timer then resets for the next customer.
The total number of customers spawned by this timer during the work day determines the base number of visits per day.
Spawn Timer
The customer spawn timer is calculated using your number of Shop A expansions and your shop level:
Spawn Timer = 8 – (Shop A Expansions × 0.05) – ((Visible Shop Level – 1) × 0.05)
The result is bounded between 4 and 10 seconds, making 4 seconds the fastest possible time between customer spawns.
The formula uses the number of Shop A expansions directly. The shop level used in the formula is the visible shop level minus 1.
If you obtain all expansions at the first level possible, the 4-second timer is reached at:
- Shop Level 57
- 24 Shop A expansions
Once the 4-second timer is reached, it remains at 4 seconds regardless of how high your shop level or Shop A expansion count becomes.
Other combinations can also reach the 4-second minimum, including:
- Shop Level 61 with 20 Shop A expansions
- Shop Level 81 with no Shop A expansions
Customer Spawns During the Work Day
A work day runs from 8 AM to 9 PM. The spawn timer starts when you flip the sign to open the store and ends when the work day ends.
Each in-game hour lasts 1 real-life minute, so the 13-hour work day lasts 13 real-life minutes, or 780 real-life seconds.
To estimate how many base visits you may have, divide 780 real-life seconds by your current spawn timer.
At the minimum 4-second timer:
780 ÷ 4 = 195
This gives a maximum of 195 timed customer spawns during the work day.
It is possible to have 196 or so base visits, depending on when you flip the sign to open while a spawn is already on the way.
Timed spawns can be skipped if your store is at capacity.
Morning Rush
In addition to the timed customer spawns, a group of customers spawns within a range of your store at the very start of the day. This is called the morning rush.
These are additional potential visits that you can receive if you open the store right away.
The size of the morning rush depends on your total store capacity.
Morning Rush Formula
The morning rush count is calculated as:
Morning Rush = floor(Total Store Capacity ÷ 2) + 1
The division by 2 uses only the integer portion of the result, effectively rounding down. For example, 1.5 becomes 1. The decimal portion would be retained if the calculation used division by 2f instead.
Total store capacity consists of two portions:
- Base capacity: up to 30 customers
- Decoration bonus capacity: up to 20 customers
The maximum total store capacity is therefore:
30 + 20 = 50 customers
At 50 total capacity, the morning rush is:
50 ÷ 2 + 1 = 26 customers
Therefore, the morning rush can reach a maximum of 26 customers.

Making Use of the Morning Rush
Morning rush customers spawn when the day first loads and then make their way to your store.
The morning rush will gradually dissipate as the day goes on, even if you have not flipped the sign to open. Therefore, you can lose some of these potential visits if you wait too long before opening the store.
You may lose morning rush customers if you spend significant time preparing the store before opening, such as:
- Reordering
- Restocking
- Updating prices
- Opening packs
The rate at which the morning rush disappears varies depending on where the NPCs spawned and how quickly they reach the door.
A large or near-maximum morning rush can sometimes take approximately 1 real-life hour to fully dissipate.
