The level skip cheat is specifically mentioned in the achievement list (for TR1 its achievement is called “Like Dorothy”), so that’s probably why it doesn’t disable achievements (although not sure if it invalidates the speedrun achievement).
How can i get more flares after cheat? No stock…There s a way? u.u
For what I can remember, to add flares, med-packs and ammo, you have to re-do the cheat again (more than once, I mean). But again, I can be wrong, after all these years (and yes, I am playing the remastered package without cheating… for once in my life! As long as I can manage not to cheat, I’ll – try to – avoid.)
Thank you for the useful list! I had no idea about the dev tools.
Using cheats will block achievement progression during that playthrough….
I hope it doesn’t work like this, considering one of the achievements is unlocked after skipping a level…
As for the achievement progression, I haven’t had time to try that yet. The article talks about progressing through the game. But the forum I read just says “Using cheats blocks getting trophies”. So maybe restarting the game would work too. I guess the main factor is whether to save or not. There’s probably no harm if you do it, get the achievement, and then just don’t save the game. But I’m sure people will try that in the coming days.
