Max Damage ARK Build

This ARK build focuses on maximizing damage while keeping enough camouflage to attack effectively from bushes.

It can deal around 400 to 450 damage, with critical hits reaching 500+ against light tanks. The source also reports hits of 433 and 445 damage against Atlas, despite Atlas being a heavy tank.

Build Setup

The build prioritizes damage over additional stealth. The source recommends removing the ARK’s stealth buffs, including the 25% camouflage net and other stealth upgrades.

The reasoning given is that camouflage on light tanks such as Ikarius is about twice as effective as ARK’s camouflage, so ARK does not need to invest as heavily in additional stealth.

Components

Use the following components for the damage-focused setup:

1. Shell Stabilizer
   • Increases damage by 10 while stationary.
   • Alternatively, use Vuln Breaker for a 15% bonus to damage against blue and green parts.
2. Shell Charger
   • Increases damage by 7.5 for each penetration.
   • Stacks up to 3 times.
   • This is a Rook Upgrade.
3. Hot Chamber
   • Increases damage by 12% when firing within 2 seconds of the previous shot.
   • This is an Alecto Upgrade.

Shells

Shell 2: Unstable

• Provides 10% better accuracy and damage.
• Reduces maximum speed by 10%.

Load Unstable shells and use them for attacks from a distance.

Shell 3: Gargantuan

• Provides 20% better damage.
• Causes 50% worse dispersion.

Use Gargantuan against wide targets such as Atlas or when a tank is close to you.

Bush Positioning

The build relies on attacking from bushes while changing firing positions.

Do not simply place one ARK bush and remain in it. Instead:

1. Place an ARK bush.
2. Get some energy.
3. Immediately place another bush next to it.
4. Shoot from each bush and change positions between attacks.

Changing positions between bushes can help avoid blind enemy shots. The source reports that this positioning strategy saved the player repeatedly and caused enemies to eventually give up trying to hit the position.

With this ARK build, camouflage does not decrease while moving inside the bushes. It remains the same as when stationary.
