Fortis: The Ultimate Sniper Build
Fortis can be played as a long-range sniper focused on dealing devastating damage while making it difficult for enemies to ambush or shoot at you.
The strategy relies on a specialized loadout, a defensive position near your capture point, accurate ammunition, and mines placed along likely approach routes.

How the Strategy Works
The Fortis should be played similarly to an arbalest. Abandon an aggressive heavy-tank playstyle and focus on staying concealed, maintaining distance, and taking accurate shots.
Positioning
Hide in bushes as far back as possible, ideally close to your capture point. Fortis has very little camouflage, so you cannot advance too far without becoming more vulnerable.
Ammunition
Use ammunition according to the situation:
- Use high-accuracy bullets for your targets.
- Switch to momentum when you are confident that you are going to hit.
Mine Placement
Your mines remain useful.
Place them along shallower pathways that lead either toward you or toward your base. This can help prevent enemies from ambushing you.
Dealing with Ambushes
If you are still ambushed despite your positioning and mine placement, the sidescrape gear provides a defensive option. In this situation, switch back to a heavy-tank approach and rush the enemies attacking you at your base.
The main danger is facing Alectos. Against Alectos, try to maintain some distance rather than rushing directly into them.
