Ultimate Structures Guide

Players have access to a variety of resources with which to craft and build.

Workbench

  • For creating basic tools
  • Learned as part of the introductory quests from Vidyas. It’s used to craft a variety of equipment and Items
  • Build Cost: 3 Wood, 2 Sandstone

Lean-to

  • A simple Shelter
  • Learned as part of the introductory quests from Vidyas. It’s a rudimentary shelter and serves to help pass the time to get through the heat of the day. It can prevent a great deal of water loss from sun exposure.
  • Build Cost: 3 Wood, 4 Plant Fiber

Compost Bin

  • Converts Vegetable matter into fertilizer
  • Learned from investing in Survival Memory “Handcrafts”. It is used to turn excess items from Flora, Food items, and Bone Fragments into Fertilizer. Instead of ‘qualities’ of fertilizer, it makes varying quantities.
  • Build Cost: 4 Wood, 1 Plant Fiber

Storage Basket

  • A handwoven basket to safely store items
  • Learned from investing in Survival Memory “Handcrafts”. It is possible to pick up (not to inventory, but like transplanting Flora) and move it. Storage is currently not ‘sortable’ or ‘automatically sorted’. Stacks are also not automatically consolidated. These are known issues. You may transfer items 1 at a time in order to fill existing stacks. It can be upgraded into Big Basket from within its inventory menu.
  • Build Cost: 5 Plant Fiber. (8 item slots.)

Big Basket

  • More storage and more resistant to damage
  • An upgraded Storage Basket that holds twice as many item stacks.
  • Upgrade Cost: 6 Plant Fiber, 2 Wood. (16 item slots.)

Loom

  • Allows you to craft clothing and gear
  • Learned from investing in Survival Memory “Weaving”. It is used to make new outfits, and eventually, trinkets/clothing to assist the Player with various perks.
  • Build Cost: 3 Wood, 3 Plant Fiber, 1 Bone Fragment

Ancestral Altar

  • An altar that will help you commune with spirits of the past
  • Learned as part of the side quests from Vidyas. It’s used to track down wandering Ghostss.
  • Build Cost: 3 Wood, 2 Sandstone, 2 Copper, 5 Essence

Sigil

  • Gathers and stores mana from living plants. When imbued with a rune, they grant additional effects
  • Learned from the Arcane Memory “Sigil Stones”. Basic Sigils are crafted from the building menu. They have little utility in their un-upgraded form, serving only as Essence collectors and distributors. They collect the essence from nearby plants each night in place of the player or a Wellstone and distribute essence to nearby functional sigils. Basic sigils can be upgraded to several different specialized forms, which can perform a variety of useful functions, at the expense of a small amount of essence per day.   • Build Cost: 1 Sandstone, 1 Flint, 10 Essence

Bridge

  • A simple bridge of wood
  • Learned from investing in Survival Memory “Carpentry”. There are upgrades available that makes it longer in exchange for additional resources.
  • Build Cost: 6 Wood, 2 Plant Fiber

Bridge Upgrades

Metal reinforcements allow extending your bridge further

  • Double-Length Bridge:
    • An upgraded Bridge that is twice as long as a standard Bridge
    • Upgrade Cost: 6 Wood, 1 Copper
  • Triple-Length Bridge:
    • An upgraded Double-Length Bridge that is the length of 3 standard Bridges
    • Upgrade Cost: 6 Wood, 1 Copper

Path

  • A wooden path segment. Better footing slightly improves your speed
  • Learned from investing in Survival Memory “Handcrafts”. Allows the player to move faster while travelling on it. Can be upgraded to Stone Path by interacting with the Path.
  • Build Cost: 2 Wood

Stone Path

  • Places smooth stone on your wooden foundation. Increases speed slightly further
  • An upgrade from Path, increases speed slightly more than basic Path.
  • Upgrade Cost: 2 Sandstone

Planter

  • A walled bed containing good soil, suitable for small plants
  • Learned from investing in Survival Memory “Handcrafts”. Raised bed planter.
  • Build Cost: 3 Sandstone, 2 Fertilizer

Enriched Planter

  • Enrigh the soil in this planter for faster growth
  • An upgraded Planter. Allows faster growth rate of plants.
  • Upgrade Cost: 4 Fertilizer, 2 Bone Fragment, 20 Food, 25 Water

Wellstone

  • A stone enchanted with a bit of a river spirit’s power. Place near a major spring to draw more water from underground
  • Wellstones are magical sources of clean water. Can be crafted by investing in Arcane Memory “WellstoneThey are crafted at the Oasis and at Blocked Springs. Crafted Wellstones can be upgraded to produce more water.
  • Crafting Cost: 3 Sandstone, 1 Copper, 25 Water, 25 Essence

Round Gate

  • An arch foundation that can be outfitted with a door
  • Learned from investing in Survival Memory “Construction”. A Round stone gate with craftable and usable wooden door upgrade.
  • Build Cost: 5 Sandstone
    • Wooden Gateway Door
      • Upgrade Cost: 3 Wood

Wooden Gate

  • Basic Wooden Gate
  • Learned from investing in Survival Memory “Carpentry”. A usable Wooden gate that can be mounted on things.
  • Build Cost: 5 Wood

Pangolin Burrow

  • A home for a certain trickster
  • Learned from investing in “Animal Empathyin Spiritual Memory. Creates a home for Pangolin to inhabit. To be used in combination with Trickster Treats. Also Movable.
  • Build Cost: 2 Wood, 2 Sandstone, 2 Flint

Statue Base

  • A base used to create effigies in honor of the gods
  • Perk required to unlock Statue Base is Naia’s Blessing. Can only be acquired after freeing Naia’s Temple and speaking with Naia. A foundation for statues. Upgrade it to build full statues.
  • Build Cost: 3 Sandstone

Statue of Naia

  • A decorative statue honoring Naia
  • Currently the only available upgrade for the Statue Base. A decorative miniature version of the Statue at Naia’s Temple.
  • Upgrade Cost: 6 Sandstone, 1 Flint

Wall Foundation

  • A foundation on which to build
  • Learned from investing in Survival Memory “Carpentry”. A decorative wall base. Comes in two varieties, straight and curved. These foundations can be upgraded into full Walls.
  • Build Cost: 1 Sandstone
