Stardew Valley – Meadowlands Farm Guide with Tips (Update 1.6)

This guide is about the new update 1.6 with Meadowlands farm. It includes useful tips, list of the new shipping items and more.

Guide to Meadowlands

Description

The Stardew Valley farm Meadowlands is well-known for its unusual chewy blue grass. While not the best for crops, it offers a different farming experience.

The Coop

Unlike other farms, Meadowlands starts you off with a coop and two chickens, already named. These chickens grow quickly and start producing eggs daily. With the coop built and a fence in place, you can let them roam outside.

Starting Advantage

The coop and chickens provide a 6,000G head-start. Chickens mature in 3 days, yielding about 180g daily. With 2 farming level-ups, you can craft mayo makers for more profit. By the first week, you could have 4 chickens and 4 mayo makers, earning you almost 800G daily.

Blue Grass

The blue grass isn’t just a visual change; it speeds up animal relationship growth. Animals fed blue grass produce higher-quality goods faster. To maintain the blue grass, let your animals graze directly on it.

Water and More

While the farm isn’t large, refilling your watering can can be tedious without sprinklers. When you have sufficient stone, think about digging a well to save time.

Useful Tips and Tricks

Increase Inventory Space

Purchase backpack upgrades from Pierre’s shop. Starting with 12 slots is restrictive, but the 24-slot upgrade helps manage inventory, especially in the mines.

Putting Chests

While it may seem convenient to place chests outside your farm or near the mines, it’s better to manage inventory carefully to avoid losing items.

Infinite Power Achievement

Visit the Adventurer’s Guild, purchase another Galaxy Sword for 25,000G, save up 120 Qi Gems for 3 Galaxy Souls, and return to the volcano forge with 60 Cinder Shards to unlock the achievement.

New shipping item list
