Colony Survival – Exploring the Different Enviroments

An indepth description of all the different enciroments out there! Its bigger than you think!

Intro

I decided that once I knew how to get home, that I would go and explore and see just how much is really out there, and I was really surprised! I didnt see anyone else saying anything about this (correct me if I am wrong), so i decided to post it myself! Here are the different areas that I found.

The Tiaga

We all know about the main area that we spawn into when we start the game, normal grass, and the trees are made out of Log Temperate and Leaves Temperate. But what goes byond that? Well first I found the Taiga.

This is where the Temperate meets the Taiga.

The Taiga has a compleatly new set of resources.

• Grass Taiga 

• Leaves Tiaga

The Mountains

After the Tiaga comes the mountains with new grass and SNOW!

Usually the Taiga leads up to what looks like barren dirt, but is actually a new type of grass!

Ths new type of grass is called Grass Tundra.

And at the very top of the mountains, the grass turns to snow!

The Desert

As I continued my travles, I came across what I believe to be a desert!

Suddenly the forest turned barren and there was only sand.

There was sand for miles around!

I though that may have been the end of my travles, but I pressed on.

The Savanna

Soon the Desert turned into another new enviroment with regular trees but another new grass.

I even found water!

Even though the trees look different they are still made of Log Temperate and Leaves Temperate.

And the new grass is called Grass Savanna.

The Rainforest

Continuing on, I soon found an area called the rain forest. Again the same trees but different grass.

The Rainforest was dencely packed.

My view from the ground was filled with trees and bushes.

This photo shows just how thick the trees were compared to all the other ones.

There was also a ton of water!

Also the new typeof Grass is called Grass Rainforest.

The Ocean and Islands

The Rainforest soon came to a end and vanished off into the sea, but not before breaking off into some cool islands.

This was one of my favorites.

Continuing on i found that the Ocean was endless no matter how far or deep I went.

However I did manage to find this one strange island out in the middle of no where.
