Getting the Miner
Сrеdit gоеs to Lego Monster 19!
We’ll start with really basic stuff. First you need to get a bed and hire the guy.
A miner can’t mine without a pickaxe so you’ll want to grab some planks and iron from the stockpile and make one. When you do put it back in the stockpile.
Congratulations, you have a miner!
Making the Mine
Now that you have someone to mine stuff, you need a mine to get the stuff from! Dig in any fashion you desire (Miners go down spiral staircases faster then straight. I went with going straight down.
Dig all the way down until you reach a block that looks like this.
Clear out a small room and place a crate. Dig around until you can find these 5 ores.
- Gypsum
- Clay
- Coal
- Iron
- Gold
Note: You don’t have to find every ore at once, if you don’t need, you don’t have to find it.
Congratulations! You have made your mine.
How to Start Working
So far we have hired a miner and made a mine! Now we need to get the miner down below and start working. Use the command tool and select miner. Select the type of ore you wish him to mine (in this case it’s stone).
He should start coming down the stairs to make a ton of stone bricks.
You can do the same for the other ores, but to make full use of iron, clay, and gold, you need a smelter. Make a furnace (not an oven, that’s for bread) and hire a guy to work.
You may set limits on bricks but i reccommend leaving the gold and iron alone.
Fin
You have successfully made a working mineshaft!
Enjoy using the many blocks that this mine produces such as:
- Clay
- Bricks
- Shop and Mint
- Plaster
- Torches
- Flax related stuff!
