This guide is about the new drop system in Counter-Strike 2.

After Counter-Strike 2 came out we get not only new graphic. We also got new drop system and new shop. We gonna describe how new drop system is working.
New Drop System
The base of the drop system remains the same as it was: raise the level then you get a reward. Drop becomes available every week at wednesday at 9pm GMT. When you can get it, airdrop icon will appear next to your rank.
After you get new rank, the game will offer you 4 items of your choice. You can take 2 of them.
Unfortunately, only one case can drop weekly. Also there is a chance that case will not drop from weekly reward. You can get cases from all operation or all collections except cases Riptide, Fracture, Broken Fang operations and eSports cases.
You can get all rares of weapons (except knives, gloves and contraband rarity).
Skins can only drop from active collection map (you can’t get skin from maps that got removed from competitive map pool).
