  • Forbid yourself to cheeze money making from robbing shops. Dont rob any shops.
  • All your money must come from battle spoils. Experience the tension and pressure of poverty and needing to carefully manage your purchases.
  • Install a save mod, and to lean back and have patience.
  • After you report to the Bailiff, make Nightingale wait while you go train and explore – maybe kill some bandits and get better gear, because you’ll need it. Nightingale will wait forever while you improve your knowledge of the game.
  • While making Nightingale wait, Ask Bernard for work.

As for gear, you can spend quite some time in Skalitz before you progress the errands for your father. I often spend a good 3 or so hours there, starting by collecting nearly every herb in town. This can get you the perk Leg Day to get strength early on. Sell the herbs and you can get a good few hundred Groshen.

If you’re lucky, you can even successfully do a stealth knockout on a guard and take their gear. I’ve left Skalitz in full armor with my own bow and sword. Might just be chain over gambeson, but depending on what the guard has, you can sometimes get all the accessories too, from leg armor to gauntlets and all that fun stuff. Can find yourself quite well equipped.

You can also train your sword skill a bit slashing at some cows in one of the yards. Spend enough time there, you can even find yourself almost good enough to fight a Cuman or two on your way out.

Not a traditional way to play maybe, but it can be quite fun to become a serial killer of Skalitz.
