Animals follow the following 2 states:

• Roam, Poop + Eat

The roaming action has two parts, the moving and waiting. Both are done 5 times before pooping/ eating is activated.

• The animal moves with 0.5 tiles per second.
• The move range is between 0 and 3.5 tiles. (meaning 0-7 seconds move time)
• The wait time is 1-4 seconds.

This means roaming take a total of 30 seconds on average.

After roaming the animal starts pooping and then eating.

• Pooping will always produce always 3 fertilizer.
• Eating consists of a moving action and await action of 4 seconds.

Fertilizer production rate

On average the prodcution will be a bit below 5.1 fertlizer per minute per animal.

Are there differences between cattle and swines?

No, except when it comes to cost calcuation, there they are viewed as different entities.

Issue with destruction

Not like most buildings/ entities, both the animals and the animal feeder cant be destroyed once purchased.

Additionally animals cant be moved between feeders and are fixed to the once selected.

Fertilizer storage

This storage is only for putting poop into. The fertilizer bot can take the fertilizer from normal storages.

What do animals eat?

Animals have no preferences on food. The bot that gives them the food will always use one of the cheapest 3 options.

When looking for efficency

As animals will sometimes move to water well when close by, which redeuces efficency, having a water well near them should be avoided.
