Rusty’s Retirement – How to Spawn New NPC (Easter Egg)

A few of us found GPS coordinates on the map in the left corner, and I worked out how to make a new NPC appear!

Easter Egg Guide

Сrеdit gоеs to Gaara25!

The location

We discovered a small computer in the left corner of the map.

Clicking on it a few times will give a coordinate:

  • 59°35’59″N 24°30’36.6″E

Warning! This new NPC is useless.

It will sometimes destroy crops that are about to be picked.

So I obviously don’t recommend you to spawn it.

What you need

So once the game is open:

You must at least unlock the map with the computer and click on it until the coordinates appear.

Then type “patarei10a” and a new NPC will appear!

Important note: You should type the code without the space.

Useful info about NPC and location

The real place is called Patarei Prison.

Tallinna Keskvangla, also called Patarei Sea Fortress and Patarei Prison (Estonian: Patarei vangla), is a complex of buildings in Tallinn, Estonia’s Kalamaja area. It is also referred to as The Battery (Patarei). Situated on the shore of Tallinn Bay, the premises comprise around four hectares of a former sea fortification and prison. More info read here.

    • by default he picks one of the last 8 seeds you’ve unlocked. You can buy signs from Sonnet’s shop to dedicate a plot to a particular kind of plant though.

  1. The bulblets around your farm can affect berry growth. I have spread the berry bushes across the farm and it provide better yield than the bushes around hives.

    • Focus Mode appears to double the length of time it takes for crops to grow, buildings to be built, ect. ect.

      • I always assumed “focus mode” was so that you would be able to move your attention off the game to “focus” on work? Hence the 2X slower speed – less happens during it so you don’t have to tend the farm.

  2. I have saved a lot to buy Splunk’s house but he seems to not be doing his job. There are a lot of vacant plots and he is just standing there not planting anything. Do I have to make him do something or is this a bug?
