Ultimate Guide to Farming Gear
By Tomis.
Farming is the bread and butter of any idle game and Super Snail is no exception. A vast majority of your time in this game will be spent farming and any increases to farming efficiency will speed up your progress and power exponentially!
In the beginning stages of the game, most of the systems are locked behind power increases so these items are not as essential. As soon as you hit a wall with your power or get to the current content, these items become extremely valuable. A lot of the bonuses may seem small, but over a long period of time they make a huge impact.
Some notes on farming:
- Power does not matter when you farm, equip every possible piece of farming gear.
- Get every source of travel speed you can, it is the most important stat.
- Check the museum of the region that you are farming, you can get some small buffs to farming from relics placed there.
- Murika North is the current goto place to farm because of the gear chests.

General Farming Gear
This gear should be used whenever you are not trying to push apostles or other content that requires high power in realm exploration.
Iron Track / Tremendous Support
The most powerful farming item by quite a bit. It grants Travel SPD +9.6% which acts as a multiplier for every other aspect of farming. A very important item to get and upgrade as much as possible.
Obtained from Divine Order Chests 125 chests on average. This is a great one to Gear Forge even though it is somewhat common because of how impactful the buff is. Get this to red ASAP.
Teslla / The Great Scientist
A very strong farming item. It grants When exploring, 2x Time Chests Drops +12%. Many time chests are generated through exploration and this is a multiplier on those chests. These chests are so valuable because they provide speedups for other important long term systems in the game like offering, gene, and refinement.
Obtained from lottery purple beads and takes around 900 pulls on average. Not recommended to get from Gear Forge as it is relatively common. Top priority to get this to red.
Diver / Deepsea Helmet
A great farming item. It grants In any Realm, 2x Demon God Cell Drops +12%. Demon god cells are a large bottleneck for gene research and exploration is one of the primary sources of these, this is a substantial upgrade to Cell production.
Obtained from Divine Neutral Chests 125 chests on average. Good choice to Gear Forge this, it is relatively common but getting it sooner is impactful. High priority to get this to red.
Curator Helmet / The Great Collector
Another great farming item. It grants Enemies in exploration drop +24 W-tads up to a cap of 110k W-tads. Additional sources of W-tads are always welcome. The cap increases as the helmet is upgraded and takes a very long time to max out so this is worth investing in long-term. Onced maxed, this item can safely be downgraded (upgrading to +9 will increase the cap).
Obtained from 50k museum medals, get saving! Medium priority to get to red but can be dropped back to orange once the cap is hit.
Pirate / Overlord’s Hook
A good farming item. It grants Enemies in exploration drop +120 B-tads up to a cap of 3,200,000. Similar to Curator’s Helmet but provides B-tads instead of W-tads. Onced maxed, this item can safely be downgraded (upgrading to +9 will increase the cap).
Obtained from Divine Chaos Chests 125 chests on average. Medium priority to get to red but can be dropped to orange once the cap is hit. Not recommended to gear forge.
Gear Ring / The Great Engineer
A mediocre farming for the current state of the game. It grants Upon traveling through an area: Gain 120 Intel Intel doesn’t seem very powerful but in the JP and CN versions of the game, intel seems to be very important so this item will be good later. It also fuses with treads so it is necessary to push that past +1.
Obtained from Divine Order Chests 500 chests on average. Worth to get from gear forge if you want to push for +2. Not necessary to get to red until you want to go for +2. This will become more valuable when the Rift is released.
Form Specific Farming Gear
Specific resources can be targeted based on which form is chosen. Each form has a piece of gear that boosts the resource that the form can farm. The form and its gear will be grouped together in this section.
All of these items are obtained from the central Tier 3 Gene Research node and grant increased cells gained of their own type.
Prayer Staff / Seraph’s Light
The Angel Form farming item. It grants Fungus Chests +12% in exploration. Fungus chests are very rare and mushrooms provide some of the most powerful stats in the whole game. Purple shrooms grant increased gene research speed and orange shrooms grant leadership. Both of these stats are absolutely essential. The final breakpoint for these is 500 for both purple and orange. There will be an event that uncaps the orange mushrooms for an infinite leadership source. Farming in angel form is a fantastic option.
Mind-Control Dagger / Subspace Blade
The Mutant Form farming item. It grants Time Chests +12% in exploration. As explained in The Great Scientist section, time chests are very valuable. They provide speedups for many long term progression systems, an additional multiplier on this is very powerful. When the cell drought ends, this will be competitive with dragon and angel for a farming choice.
Dragon Fang Dagger / Fang of Tiamat
The Dragon Form farming item. It grants In Dragon Form: Gain +12% Cells, Gain 12% Dragon Chests in explorations. Dragon form farming allows for farming Incense, Dragon orbs, W-tads, and Glue which are limited resources that are important for progression. The rate of dragon chests is very low but because of how important the resources it grants are, dragon is another great option for farming.
Undead Staff / Serket Staff
The Zombie Form farming item. It grants Evolution Chests +12% in exploration. Cells are a big bottleneck in early and midgame so farming with this form is great. This also combines with an extremely powerful late game item so it will need to be pushed to red at some point anyways. Past T7 forms, cells are less of an issue because the time required to research increases much more aggressively than the cell requirements.
Gauss C14 / Gauss M72
The Mecha Form farming gear. It grants Tool Chests +12% in explorations. Tool chests primarily give stone and wood. While these resources are beneficial for long-term progression, there are plentiful other sources so the benefit of farming them is much lower than the above forms.
Demon Scythe / Soul Reaper
The Demon Form farming gear. It grants Soul Chests +12% in exploration. Soul chests provide very little. You get some souls that could just be bought from the vending machine. After getting 1 of each soul for the unique soul bonus, demon form should no longer be used for farming.
Farming Strategy
There are only 7 pieces of gear necessary so fitting more gear is not as much of a consideration in a farming oriented strategy. Only 1 form gear should be upgraded at a time. It is a waste of EoH to have multiple form gear +1ed at a time for farming.
This strategy would pump as many EoH as possible into upgrading the farming gear. Power gear would only be +1ed when a new item needs to be fit into the power build. This build would rely on switching the highly upgraded farming gear over to combat gear when new difficult content comes out.
