Alecto Duelist Build
The Alecto can become extremely durable with a specific combination of mods and can use this setup to fight and defeat significantly more enemies than it otherwise could. The key components are Siphon Shells and Reverse Blink.
Recommended Mods
Siphon Shells
Siphon Shells are a key part of the build. Like Spotting Shells, they have a hidden nerf when used on vehicles with clips. The Alecto has no clip, making Siphon Shells extremely efficient on it.
Use Siphon Shells when the Alecto is below half HP.
Reverse Blink
Reverse Blink provides an escape option when the Alecto is spotted in a vulnerable position.
If you push forward or peek and are spotted, use Reverse Blink to teleport back. Do not worry about wasting energy when using it this way, as the ability is not particularly useful for much else.
Playstyle
The Alecto should rely on stealth, positioning, and controlled engagements.
- Hide in bushes and slowly move toward a flank.
- Try to attack enemies while remaining in bushes.
- You can push forward and peek when necessary, but if you are spotted in a vulnerable position, use Reverse Blink to retreat.
- If you see an enemy alone and are sure they do not have cover fire from their team, you can charge them.
- Be cautious when charging isolated enemies because there may be a sniper positioned farther back on a hill.
- Use Siphon Shells when below half HP.
Build Considerations
The build is still somewhat in testing. It is not certain whether investing heavily into Siphon Shells is better than taking additional DPS mods.
Even with this build, the Alecto cannot reach the damage levels of the Ark. The setup is intended to make the Alecto durable enough to fight and win against more enemies than it otherwise could.
