Zenless Zone Zero hidden pet cat adoption chain quest guide:

Black Inky cat appears around afternoon, night & midnight – after we finished a combat/energy spending event.

During the first stage of Inky trust progress, its very shy.

Special loading screen & dialogue appears as we find Inky.

There are two options here:

Pick watch from afar for trust exp – very important to reach the second tier to unlock trust quest & start buying cat food!

Various Inky Random Spawn Locations:

  • Next to remodeling shop.
  • The back street behind mew officer.
  • On the bike in the back street.
  • In front of the convenience store, left side of the street.
  • The back alley behind the coffee shop.

Inky Dialogue Options:

  • When Inky is playing with its friends: pick let’s play together/play with them.
  • When Inky mew mew (twice) pick: go close & pet it.
  • When Inky mew…mew..mew multiple times pick: give it a cat can.

* It’s possible/could be that we need both truste level of inky & soldier 11 to reach a certain point (level 3) at the same time to unlock inky’s next quest line.

Using the side quest icon indicator on 6th street to find more Inky.

This also leads to hide & see games with Inky: various hiding spots:

  • Next to remodeling shop.
  • Behind newsagent store.
  • On the tire behind the newsagent store street.
  • Behind the panda at the coffee store.
  • Behind the pipes in front the coffee shop.
  • The gap next to the galaxy gadget store.

Needs over 10+ game days to encounter Inky 14+ times while gaining trust EXP. To fasten the days progression we can skip once.

Repeating combat on this level in less than 1 min to progress in game days.
