General Guide to Threadlings Build
Do you like having green spaghetti space bugs as pets? Too bad, they are now your army to command and throw at hordes of enemies, bosses, and even other guardians (Gambit and Crucible).
Abilities:
- Threadling Grenade, Arcane Needle, Phoenix Dive
Super:
- Needlestorm
Aspects:
- Feed The Void and Weaver’s Call
Fragments:
- Awakening, Hope, Honor, Devotion, Justice / Generosity (More ad clear or better teamplay)
Facet of Devotion is very good for getting that light bar to fill much faster!
Exotic Armor:
- Either the new Solipsism with Spirit of Apotheosis / Harmony or the regular Swarmers for unravelling the universe!
Weapons:
- The Call with Demolitionist / Hatchling is an amazing pick, however Wish Keeper is amazing for its suspending and hatchling perk combo.
Make sure to focus Resilience, Recovery, and Discipline, along with the highest possible intellect you can.
Mods:
- Helmet: Harmon Siphon/s and one special finder (more ammo = more damage).
- Arms: Firepower, momentum transfer, bolstering detonation. (threadlings give decent energy for other abilities for some reason).
- Chest: Any resists for specific activities.
- Legs: Elemental Charge, scavenger for your “The Call” and a strand surge.
- Bond: Bomber, powerful attraction, reaper.
How to Play
Gameplay loop is simple. Try to get your transcendence or super as fast as possible with spirit of harmony or your swarmers’ unraveling with the facet of devotion (More light energy by defeating darkness debuffed targets).
Once you have apotheosis or transcendence active, start flinging those abilities ; two needles -> one nade -> repeat until buff is over. If you have the solipsism roll, you should get your super or transcendence from using one or the other. I have found this very good in nightfalls and GMs, just be careful not to be too aggro if you are in a GM. Devour is good, but it isnt invincible.
Possible in PVP, but not very recomended.
Thanks for reading the guide, I hope it was helpful to you!
