Brawler Faceroll Automatic Pulverize Build + Sword Spin
This build is designed for Human Brawlers and is viable for Hardcore content. It can also be adapted for Mino Brawlers with some specific changes.
Set Items
The recommended Human Brawler setup uses:
| Set | Pieces |
|---|---|
| Rumbler | 6 |
| Pit Fighter | 3 |
| Gore Horn | 3 |
Mino Brawler Variant
Mino Brawlers can use:
- 6 Ironfist
- 3 Pit Fighter
- 3 Gore Horn

Rumbler is useful if you are lacking critical strike chance. If you can reach approximately 30% critical chance without the Rumbler set, Ironfist should provide more DPS.
You can also use 3 Bull Heart instead of Pit Fighter if you already have plenty of physical damage from other sources.
Recommended Stats
The priority stats for this build are:
- Attack damage
- Physical damage
- Strike damage
- Strike pierce
- Critical rate
- Critical multiplier
- Maximum rage
- Attack speed
Mino Brawlers should look for Blunt damage and Blunt pierce instead of Strike damage and Strike pierce.

When you find gear with these stats, save it. Ideally, look for at least three of the listed stats on an item. The exception is Chest, Belt, and Charm, where finding good combinations is considerably more difficult. For Bracers, two useful stats are acceptable.
How the Build Works
The build automatically triggers Pulverize through the Pulverizing Frenzy passive.
Pulverizing Frenzy requires 5 rage and activates on every third auto attack, with a 2-second cooldown. Managing this attack pattern is essential for maintaining the build’s DPS.
Rage Generation
The build generates rage through two main sources.
War Cat
The War Cat pet provides 11 rage at the start of combat at level 8 and continues generating rage every 6 seconds.
Enraging Jab
Quick Jab can be upgraded to Enraging Jab, which grants 5 rage whenever it is used. The skill also has 4 charges, allowing you to generate rage on demand.
Sword Spin and Damage Buffs
Versatile Warrior provides 15% increased damage for 8 seconds when activated. Its duration is longer than its cooldown, allowing the 15% damage increase to remain active continuously.
The Hero’s Turn passive adds a secondary automatic spin at the end of the dash.
Blade Discipline prevents the character from switching to the crossbow, allowing the build to remain on the sword.
Core Rotation
The basic rotation is:
- Enter combat.
- Weapon swap to trigger Sword Spin. War Cat provides rage as you enter combat, and using the weapon swap provides the 15% increased damage from Versatile Warrior.
- Perform 3 auto attacks to trigger Pulverize.
- Use Quick Jab to generate 5 rage.
- Perform another 3 auto attacks to trigger Pulverize again.
- Repeat the sequence.
Use dashes periodically to activate the Rumbler set passive, Haymaker, which grants 20% increased physical damage for 5 seconds.
You can also use Sword Spin whenever it comes off cooldown because it deals significant damage. However, use it either immediately before or after the third auto attack so that you do not interfere with the timing of your Pulverize trigger.
Skills
The core skill setup only requires Quick Jab and the weapon swap for Sword Spin.
You can also use War Banner, which provides a 20% physical damage increase and 15% stamina recovery. However, Quick Jab’s upgraded version provides a 1-second refund to a skill on cooldown, and the build benefits from frequently using the weapon swap.
War Banner is still a viable alternative if you prefer it.
The remaining skill slot can be filled with any skill of your choice.
Passive Leveling Order
For a Human Brawler, prioritize the following passives:
- Versatile Warrior
- Hero’s Turn
- Blade Discipline
- Pulverizing Frenzy
- Recovering Strike
- Cycling Strike
- Enraging Jab
Start with Versatile Warrior, Hero’s Turn, and Blade Discipline to establish the core damage, buffs, and mobility of the build.
Then path toward Pulverizing Frenzy by moving upward and left through the passive tree. Make sure you have the War Cat pet at this point, as it helps provide the rage needed to trigger Pulverize consistently.
Afterward, path toward Recovering Strike, Cycling Strike, and Enraging Jab to start generating rage on command.
You can take the Jab-related nodes before reaching Enraging Jab, then respec once you have enough points to take the entire section of the passive tree. The Jab passives are very important to the build.
After the core passives are complete, use the remaining points for more attack speed, critical chance, and critical damage.

Critical Attack Speed Nodes
The last nodes of two of the relevant passive sections effectively provide 25% attack speed when you critically hit. Taking both provides a total of 50% attack speed.
This allows the build to reach 2 attacks per second, making it easier to trigger Pulverize and maintain high DPS from auto attacks.
Leveling and Gear Transfer
A character can travel to another world and purchase the War Cat pet there, then equip it.
The same can be done with gear, although the gear has level requirements at levels 1, 5, and 10. Keep these requirements in mind when transferring and equipping items.
