This Human Shadow build focuses on applying Bleed, consuming it, and then dealing repeated attacks before repeating the sequence.

Build Goal

The core gameplay loop is:

1. Apply Bleed.
2. Consume the Bleed.
3. Hit repeatedly.
4. Repeat.

Level 25 Stats

Item Sets

Stats to Look For

Prioritize the following stats:

• % Bleeding Damage
• % Critical Multiplier
• % Critical Rate
• % Physical Damage
• % Attack Damage
• % Bleed Damage
• Spell Haste
• Attack Speed

Pet

War Cat increases physical damage dealt by 2% per stack.

Carrion Parrot is another option that was considered because of its Bleed stacking, although it has not been tested with the build.

Spells

The build uses:

• Weapon Swap
• Vanishing Strike
• Savage Claw
• Frenzied Slashes, optional

Frenzied Slashes can provide extra damage and apply more Bleed, but it is not considered necessary for the build.

Skill Tree

Flicker Vanish

Prioritize Flicker Vanish early for mobility and positioning.

Later, progress toward Harvesting Vanish and its nodes for Bleed consumption.

Applying Bleed

For applying Bleed, progress through:

Versatile Warrior → Hero’s Return → Rending Swap and its nodes

Shadowed Steel

Shadowed Steel is useful for boosting physical damage whenever Vanishing Strike is used.

Use the remaining skill points to acquire Attack Speed Increase and Spell Haste nodes.

Core Gameplay Loop

The build increases its initial burst by using Vanishing Strike to apply Bleed, then using Flickering Vanish to consume the Bleed for bonus damage.

Between cooldowns, continue attacking with melee or ranged attacks for consistent damage and additional chances to critically hit.

A typical sequence is:

1. Use Vanishing Strike to apply Bleed.
2. Use Flickering Vanish to consume the Bleed for bonus damage.
3. Continue attacking with melee or ranged attacks between cooldowns.
4. Use the abilities again when their cooldowns are available.
5. Optionally use Frenzied Slashes for additional damage and Bleed application.
