Want the Fur but don’t want to fight hardmode for a whole year? Simple method that just requires little work and a lot of idle time to pass the full 48 day year.
Simple Method for Hardmode
Prep Work
With any character and world doesn’t matter about spawn location or stats using base materials no research or requirements besides setting your game to hard-mode.
Steps 2, 4 and 5 are both optional and not required just quality of life.
- Create your world on hard-mode and spawn in.
- Recommended not required. Build the city entrance. This step is to just save effort of having to build it all by hand and to make your rats do it for you.
- Build a ladder up into the air at least 4-5 blocks up
- Optional on that 6th level build yourself a platform to stand on.
- Optional place the ratty bench for the decoration achievement to sit on for the whole year
- Remove the bottom 3 sections of ladder. Enemies can’t attack you when your 4 blocks up not even the vomit rats.
- Idle for the year.
