The Front – Death and Revival Guide

Overview

Death and revival are a common part of The Front. While fighting or exploring, your character may die multiple times.

High-level weapons and equipment, proper defenses, and having lots of supplies will reduce your chances of dying.

Death

There are many reasons your character may die in The Front, including starvation, thirst, falling, drowning, wild creature attacks, NPC attacks, zombie attacks, traps (only in PVP), player attacks (only in PVP), etc.

Upon death, your character will drop all of their items. Those items will remain at your site of death for 30 minutes before disappearing.

During this time, you may pick them up again.

Revival

After dying, your character may return to life via revival. There are two methods of revival:

  • Reviving at a default location
  • Reviving at a sleeping bag or bed that you have placed

If you have not placed a sleeping bag or bed, you will only be able to revive at a default revival area. If you have placed a sleeping bag or bed, then you can choose to revive at that location.

Proper placement of sleeping bags and beds is essential both for novice players and for seasoned veterans.

Reviving at a Sleeping Bag or Bed:

  • After placing a sleeping bag or bed, it can be used as a revival point.
