Age of Empires Mobile – Where to Get Skill Points

In this guide I will show you where to get the crucial resource called Skill Points.

Hero Skills

Every hero can carry four skills. These consist of one commander skill, which can be manually activated during combat, one signature skill, and two customizable skills that can be freely changed. Commander and signature skills are unique to each hero, providing distinct effects that reflect their specialty and style. When you initially obtain a hero, their commander and signature skills are already available.

Customizable skills can be unlocked by using specific items once the hero reaches the required level (items are not required for the first two customizable skills). You can learn up to two out of the total six skills. Selecting the most appropriate skills for battles is a crucial factor in achieving victory.

Best Ways to Farm Skill Points

Common Barbarians

Tho this is a common knowledge it is really one of the sources to get skill points, The skill points you get here depends and varies on barbarian level. You have to spend 5 stamina to get it.

Events

There are plenty of events of which will give you a plenty amount of Skill Points.

Exploration

It’s a fairly new feature just release on previous patch but it does give a lot of Skill Points. It still depends and varies on exploration level, you have to spend 5 stamina to complete a exploration.

Expedition

Specifically Lost Borderlands and Apex arena.

• Lost Borderlands – You’ll have a chance to get skill points by killing borderland enemies.

RNG in Factor

• Apex Arena – You’re battling with other players to win the Arena silver to purchase the skill points in the shop.

Alliance Treasury

This is a stable source of weekly skill points same as apex arena.

VIP Shop

This is a last resort if you’re really really that impatient and have a lot of empire coins.

• VIP Shop – Only buy this if you are a spender.

Note: I do not recommend to buy this as an f2p player.

Update: Now you can get skill points at the new expedition game mode called Island Tactics.
