Ether Shards Overview

Ether Shards are important for unlocking new tech in the Tech interface [O]. Except for some tech in the early game, unlocking most tech will require Ether Shards.

The higher your tech level, the more Ether Shards you will need.

How to Obtain Ether Shards

There are many ways you might find Ether Shards:

  • Completing Missions.
  • Exploring The Wilderness.
  • Looting Points of Interest (POI).
  • Obtaining Supplies from The Future.
  • NPC Drops.
  • Raid Monsters.
  • Spacetime Beacon Supply Drops.
  • Exchanging with Other Players.
  • Killing Other Players.
