Dungeonborne – Generic Tips and Tricks: All Players Should Know

General Tips and Tricks: Things You Should to Know

You can prevent players from inspecting your inventory in the pre-round queue

  • Go to settings, then preferences, and click the option

The gloves and boots slot do not count towards any gear score (GS)

  • Items that count to gear score all will say Attack Level/Defense Level. All those enchantments that say will increase X level will increase your GS

The Mace and Shield melee combo are very good

  • You can attack while actively blocking. The attack is slow and easier to aim, but the key thing is you take very little damage while actively blocking.
  • Most melee players when engaged in PVP get tunnel vision and just spam left click. If you do the block and attack combination you will win unless they are smart and do a charge attack or run away
  • The default mace attack will keep momentum and constantly swing as long as you land a hit. You can keep the momentum going from one mob to another if they near by.

Multiple hitting mobs and mob friendly fire

  • Monsters especially the skeletons, zombies, armour suits, and goblins are notorious for getting close together. All mobs when trying to attack you will do damage to any other mob in the path of their attack
  • You can melee hit more than one mob if its close by.

All hits to the head on monsters and players do more damage including magic, druid cougar attacks, and crossbow bolts

  • You can tell when the damage is followed by an exclamation point. For example 100! is a head hit.

Head hits and melee charge attacks will stun mobs

  • Especially the dual wielding swords, and other melee weapons with a charge attack.

Static blue/red portals remain open even in the red zone

  • The static portals always remain open in corruption. Just make sure you have pots and beeline right for it.

Mithril order has portal finder by default

  • Blue crystal that will show portals on the map for you, kill a mithril player and you get one.

Ice orbs have different attacks depending on the weapon equipped

  • Mace charge will do an ice attack from the ground, sword charge will send a flying ice arc towards the target, dagger becomes a frozen throwing dagger with far range.

Certain classes excel in groups

  • If you’re feeling frustrated with Solo games, try grouping up. Priest and Pyromancer are good team classes and I’ve found after a few games they’re easy to learn.

Get the divine sword

  • Get the amulet at training room during full moon, and get a crown fragment. Then go to the giant moss covered chest in sinners while having them both equipped and youll get the sword fragment
